Overview
Amiram Prep is an English learning and Amiram exam preparation app. We collect limited information needed to operate core features such as account access, profiles, study progress, rankings, reminders, personalization, friends, clans, and learning activity.
Camera usage
The camera is used only when the user explicitly opens the QR scanner to add friends. Raw photos or video from the camera are not stored by the app and are not transmitted to our servers as raw media.
Profile and public information
- Users may upload a profile image and/or a banner image.
- Those files may be stored in Supabase Storage.
- We do not use your images for facial recognition.
- Depending on configuration, file URLs may be accessible to anyone who has the link.
- Profiles may also include optional display names, bio text, and optional links.
What data may be collected
- Account and profile data: email address, display name, optional bio, optional links, optional profile image, and optional banner image.
- Learning and app activity: quiz progress, study activity, points, rankings, weak words, saved translations, daily plan progress, friend activity, and clan-related activity.
- Settings data: notification preferences, reminder settings, guide visibility, personalization choices, and related app preferences.
- App/device and diagnostics data: app version, device/app information, crash or diagnostic information, and data processed by third-party SDKs where applicable.
- Advertising-related data: advertising identifiers or other device identifiers may be processed by Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide, limit, measure, and improve ads.
Health, fitness, medical and biometric data
Amiram Prep does not collect, access, store, process, or share health data, fitness data, medical information, or biometric data from the device or from third-party platforms such as Google Fit or Health Connect.
The app does not use body sensors and does not call health-related APIs.
Local storage and notifications
Some settings or app-related data may also be stored locally on the device to support preferences, reminders, guide visibility, offline behavior, daily plan progress, and a smoother experience. The app may send local notifications such as study reminders or activity-related notifications.
How data is used
- To provide account access, profiles, friends, quizzes, reminders, rankings, daily plans, personalization, clans, and social features.
- To save study progress and personalize learning recommendations.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
- To improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
- To provide optional rewarded ads and measure ad delivery where applicable.
Sharing and third-party services
Data is shared only with service providers that are required to operate the app, such as backend, authentication, database, file storage, notification, advertising, consent-management, and infrastructure providers.
- Supabase: may be used for authentication, database services, and file storage.
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK: is used for optional rewarded ads and may process advertising or device identifiers.
- Firebase Hosting: hosts the static public website where these policy and support pages are published.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share user profile or learning data with advertisers for their own independent marketing purposes.
Security and retention
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and encrypted in transit. Data may be retained while the account remains active or while the information is needed to provide the service, maintain security, prevent fraud, or comply with legal requirements. After a valid deletion request, data is removed subject to technical, backup, fraud-prevention, security, or legal limitations.
User controls
- Where supported inside the app, users may edit or remove profile information.
- Users may request account deletion or data export by emailing liroicz@gmail.com.
- Notification preferences may be managed inside the app and, where relevant, in device settings.
- Where required, advertising consent and privacy choices may be managed through the consent message shown in the app.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience and does not include mature content. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so the data can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any updated version will be posted here with a new last updated date.
